Block Printing on Fabric with Beatrice Alder

Join Artist in Residence Beatrice Alder to learn how to design and carve your own block print!

In this beginner workshop participants will carve a small linoleum block and use it to create a unique print on fabric. This technique can be used to customize garments, decoratively mend damaged clothes, and/or create new works of art. If time permits, participants will also have an opportunity to create a trace monotype on fabric; this technique uses up any excess ink from the block printing process.

This workshop is open to youth and adults ages 15+ Registration is required and spots are limited! All materials are included in your registration fee!
