CHUMMYJIGGERS is an online silent auction organized by the fundraising committee at Union House Arts (UHA). The auction serves to create a platform for people to bid on and purchase art from artists across Newfoundland and Labrador, and the rest of Canada. Over forty artists from across the country have graciously donated work in support of UHA to continue programming such as our artist in residence program, exhibitions, workshops, and much more.
Thinking of bidding on a piece? Here’s a few things to keep in mind;
- If you wish to participate and place a bid (or bids) within this auction please click register on the left hand side.
- Bidding opens on October 11 at 17:00 NT
- Bidding closes on October 20th at 20:00 NT (so don’t be late!)
- If you are the successful winning bidder your provided credit card will be charged within one week of the auction closing.
- Artwork will be packaged and sent by the artists by November 17th.
- Purchase price includes standard shipping.
- All artworks are eligible for shipping within Canada only.
- Shipping will go directly through the artist, if you win the piece that you bid on your artist will be in touch with the shipping details to coordinate delivery. If there are any issues with shipping, or questions about the auction, please do not hesitate to reach out to unionhousearts@gmail.com

What it is:
- The silent auction is a fundraiser that supports UHA and artists by creating a platform for people to bid on and purchase art from artists across Newfoundland and Labrador, and the rest of Canada.
- The Silent Auction will take place online only on the GalaBid auction platform. Participants must be located in Canada.
- Artists will be asked to submit materials (listed below) to be uploaded to the auction platform which will then be launched live via the internet for all to see and participate in
- Artwork will not be required to ship to UHA, and shipping to the customer will only happen if the item sells.
- Note: Artists are responsible for shipping, pre-determined shipping costs will be built into the initial bid (see details below under Artwork Pricing).
