VibraFusionLab: Exploring the Multi-sensory Technology in the Arts, talk with David Bobier

The PowerPoint presentation will cover the 14 year history of VibraFusionLab which David Bobier started in 2012. VibraFusionLab is an internationally renowned disabled artists-led creative research and development project and facility, supports accessibility in art practices and art experiences for Deaf and disabled artists and audiences. Vibrafusionlab promotes and supports the creation of new accessible art forms focussing on inclusive technologies for expanding art-making practices and investigating new experiences of sensory accessibility for artists and audiences of all abilities.
The presentation will give an overview of the various projects the Lab has undertaken in visual arts, music, sound art, theatre, dance, burlesque, circus arts and performance.
David will also give a demonstration of the vibrotactile technology that VibraFusionLab has developed.
This is a hybrid event and people can join in person or online! A meeting link will be included in your registration ticket for those who will be joining virtually.
