Heather Nolan (they/them) is a writer, knitwear designer, and multidisciplinary artist from Ktaqmkuk/Newfoundland. Their knitwear designs, published under the name Oileánach Knits, use craft as a tool for connecting with place, landscape, and lost ancestral culture. They are the author of Land of the Rock: Talamh an Carriag (Breakwater Books, 2022) and This is Agatha Falling (Pedlar Press, 2019). They are interested in mixing media to investigate how we connect with our environments.
