Crafting with Ocean Waste Workshop with Tara Young

Join Artist in Residence Tara Young on November 14th, 1-4pm to learn how to turn ocean waste into sculptures!

This workshop guides participants through the process of creating artwork using ocean waste. It will begin with a beach cleanup (weather permitting) where participants can gather the waste that they will then take into the studio to be transformed. Tara will guide participants through her process of turning ocean waste into sculptures of local fish through shaping, combining, and painting.
