Members Wall
The members wall is a 7′ by 9′ wall in our community space that is open to members to showcase new work and experiment with installations. The wall is open to current members of UHA and is first come first serve basis alongside feasibility for installation during the current year.
Eligibility:
- Must be a current member of UHA (if you are unsure of your member status, please reach out to us at unionhousearts@gmail.com)
- Work must be able to fit in the 7′ x 9′ space. Sculptural work can be accepted on a case by case basis and may be subject to available plinths and installation space
- Members from across Turtle Island may apply, but artists from outside of the Bonavista Peninsula must pay for the shipping to and from UHA for display.

Please note, the members wall is unable to support new media installations that require a projector, sound, or video.
Work will be displayed for one month during our open hours and members can opt in to sell their work if they like. For work sold, UHA will retain 20% of proceeds to cover administrative costs.
Members can apply to submit work together, please note this in your submission form.
Submission Requirements:
- Artist Information (Name, Mailing Address, Phone, Etc)
- A short description of what you would like to display
- Date(s) you would like to display work
- Images and Descriptions of artwork – please upload into a shareable cloud folder (Google, iCloud, etc,)
- Installation requirements: a short description of what you will need to install
Please note: submissions can be relaxed and casual!
Selection:
Members will be selected on a first come first serve basis as well as the feasibility for UHA to support the work in the space. Please note that not all submissions may be selected based on feasibility as well as availability.
Artists are responsible for the shipping and return of work should the be based outside of the Bonavista Peninsula. Members are also expected to install their work but if they are unable to make it to UHA to do so, staff will install the work for you with provided instructions.
Please note this is not a paid exhibition opportunity. Should you be selected, UHA will reach out with display dates and to coordinate with you for any additional information needed.
Submissions for our Members wall are open year round to select works for display. Please note that applications will be considered for the current year that they are submitted.
