I am a trans, non-binary visual artist of settler and immigrant Western European descent. I live in the Willow River (Grand River) watershed in Kitchener, ON. My artistic practice centers on sites of societal tension, quilting and textile traditions. I work across disciplines, including textile, printmaking, audio, installation, and sculpture.

My work investigates power dynamics in Canadian society, including our structures, systems, and beliefs. I am exploring places of friction, including issues around land ownership and property, queer space, the ‘justice’ system and incarceration. My practice examines these contemporary issues in relation to their past, rooted in colonial agendas. I believe in anti-colonial, anti-oppressive, feminist futures.

I hold a Master of Architecture (2021) and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (2019) from the University of Waterloo. My work has been exhibited throughout Canada and has been featured on national CTV News. I have received grants from the Canadian Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund and the City of Kitchener.
